Software Engineer for smart wearable based mobile application
We are looking for a software engineer to join our mobile application development team, to give our user the best experience when using GRASPOR.
GRASPOR is a pioneering wearable, enabling real-time measurement of sport performance. In contrast to existing wearables, GRASPOR measures what happens inside the muscles during exercise. This is only possible due to Ohmatex A/S vast experience in creating unique engineering solutions in the field of smart-textiles and wearables, and because of our multidisciplinary skill set. Our team consists of specialists within biomedical, electronics, software, and textile engineering.
We design and create innovative wearable and smart-textile solutions for sports-, medical- and industrial applications.
GRASPOR was released in December last year, so our journey has just started, thus you will have great influence on where we are headed. You will work with the full design lifecycle from idea to production, assessment and test. Tasks include hands-on coding and design of backend architecture as well as mobile application features and visuals.
Ideally you have a background as a software developer, and have a degree in computer science, software engineering or similar. An interest in UX and design would be a plus.
You must possess knowledge of:
• iOS frontend development
• Cloud-based backend solutions
• NoSQL Databases
• Bluetooth communication
• Internet of things (IoT)
• High-level software design and architecture
• Algorithm optimization and development
